From the time I started to code in my youth, I have always had a passion and affinity for technology. As I entered the workplace I became, and continue to be, inspired by the profound way in which the application of technology can have a significant impact on organisations and more importantly society as a whole. My background in Electrical Engineering and an MBA paved the way to being fortunate enough to have my first job experience in a cutting edge military research and development company and then later on in a prestigious analytical and technology consulting company.
The consulting experience has provided me with a broad range of industry exposure and experience (e.g. ITC, Financial Services, Insurance, Mining, Media and Retail) as well as strong roots in business analytics and data science (i.e. operations research, statistical analysis, forecasting, simulation, optimisation and strategic planning).
As a foray into executive leadership, I was afforded the opportunity to take over and successfully turn around the software services division of the group company. Three years after, I went on to co-found Revenue Science (a product, marketing and sales focused analytics and consulting subsidiary). I currently head up the Australia region of Business Science Corporation, as well as manage the software products of the group (Qerent, Pipware and Pharos).
